She arrived as a 4 year old on 9-6-2021, a necessity resulting from the untimely illness and death of her previous owner. She was not happy about all of the change and turmoil. Given the circumstances, I can't blame her. Her "War Mare" tendencies presented briefly and then she simply melted into my touch and she softened.
She is a bit independent, currently on a big pasture with a herd of mixed ages and creates absolutely no drama. Despite her freedom and companionship, she approaches, interested in people things. In training periods, she seems to long for her right person and a deep partnership when handled consistently. I have witnessed her trainability and intelligence and desire to bond, she will be solid, though needs a confident human partner to quell her moments of anxiety.
She is a bit of a no-nonsense horse, gets bored easily with repetition, and builds confidence quickly. It may require a savvy horseperson to be her leader as she is so very intelligent.
She is a blend of both "old" and "new" Egyptian breeding. High in Abbas Pasha heritage, Asil, through the blend of Doyle (Blunt - "old" Crabbet), W.R. Brown, Pritzlaff (RSI), and Babson lines. She also carries the rare Rabanna/Basilisk tail female lineage.
She is a beautiful mover and with her inherent mental constitution that will rise to the top with increased life experiences, and background breeding, Endurance should be her calling! One look at her pedigree and that is clear!
