Congratulations to Raynee Richard of Zuni, Virginia on her purchase of the black 2022 Asil stallion: SpiritWind Sahmadhi of rare Al Khamsa and Bedouin Desert heritage!!! I could not be happier with such a perfect match.  She has already introduced him to all kinds of amazing things to bring a young stallion up to be a great horse citizen later in life. Look for them on the Endurance circuit in a few years, and hopefully in time as a stallion who could add great things to mares of interest!!

SpiritWind Sahmadhi. Samadhi, without the "h" of the "Sahm" horses, is defined as a "state of joyful calm, or even rapture and beatitude, in which one maintains one's full mental alertness and acuity." It is also a style of music common in advanced contemplation and meditation exercises. It suggests a fun symbolic blend of the "musical" Windsong and "Awesome" Ahsahm themes of his dam and sire!  So far, his "barn name" seems to be settling into "Mahdi".
Sahmadhi should develop into a big, smooth, easy mover similar to both of his parents. Likewise, he is destined to have an "in-your-pocket" temperament. Endurance, Sport Horse, Trail, Ranch...the possibilities are endless!
He should remain a stallion as he is not only a nice black coated replacement for his sire, but he is also extremely unique in that his sire-line is of the very limited Fay-El-Dine branch of Tail-Male Jamil el Kebir, and his dam-line is also of the very rare Rabanna/Basilisk Tail-Female.

As he is now owned by Endurance enthusiast Raynee Richard in Zuni, Virginia all interests in his breeding future should be directed to her at: rayrichard005@gmail.com
