Pedro Pablo Gomez of his stable Al-Shaalan Endurance in Santiago, Chile has graciously kept me updated on "my boy Baas", and sharing of his progress there as one of his herd stallions, his new foals, and now as he gets under saddle. Check out how this guy moves!

!!It's Official!!
SpiritWind Desert Arabians, LLC NOW has an official freeze BRAND!
It has been many years in the making.
I rough sketched the original 2 feather logo (at bottom of page) while bored at work one day many years ago, but it was not suitable for a brand.
It took me many more years to finally perfect the new feather for the final freeze brand.
In August 2023, we did the first appplication to horse flesh and I must say I am very pleased!
We started with the oldest horse, SandaFaaBani SDA - 29 yr old stallion, and worked our way through those who would not need any sedation to apply.
Sheila Harmon Presley inspired me with her artsy Celtic knot brand and provided her expertise in the process. Apparently it is tradition, or at least it is now... that the first horse branded accidentally has the brand applied upside down!!
